Archive for 'Newborn'

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I’m back to start your week off with some super sweet little ones. Last time you saw these tiny twins, they looked something like this:

Less than a month after this picture was taken, these tiny babies made their way into the world quite a bit ahead of schedule! I believe they were both only about 3lbs when they were born. They were strong little fighters and were home within a month or so. So meet…Kate and Luke!

Jane is amazing with these two. She went from no kids to 2 and I was amazed at how well she could handle both of them. I bow down to you, Jane!!! And they clearly LOVE their Mama!

Kate fell fast asleep right in the middle of the shoot. Love her sleeping sitting up. Its tough work being this cute!

Lets end this with some sweet puppy kisses for Luke!

If there is one thing a heat wave is good for, it is a newborn shoot!! The warmer the better is the rule and it sure was warm. While Mom and I sweated, she was happier than a bug in a rug!

I got to meet up with Miss Emily this week and you guys…she was like, the picture perfect baby during this shoot. She slept for 3/4 of the shoot and basically let me do whatever I wanted with her. And as an added bonus, she did not have one accident the whole shoot, which as other newborn photographers can tell you, is basically a miracle! I mean…look at her!

I mean, seriously??? So cute. She just hung out in this position for quite a while!!

We snuck out to the backyard for a few shots.

Melissa and Nick are AWESOME first time parents. They totally trusted me with all things Em and of course, she has them wrapped right around her little finger. I love this little family set.

And last but not least, one shot of the whole family with their first baby…George!!! He. was. amazing.
Thank you guys for letting me into your little family for a few hours!

I’m so happy to have this family on my blog again! Just a few months ago, you got to see this sweet face on my site (and she is featured in the header up above as well!) Sweet Miss Quinn:

And now I would like to introduce you to her new baby brother, Liam!! A little ginger baby after my own heart. I tried to take him home with me, but they are pretty attached to him already.

Look how big Miss Quinn has gotten!! She is a good big sister.

Kim…you look WAY too good to have just given birth 2 weeks ago. Seriously.

Finishing off with a little brother and sister love. :-)

I’m so glad I was able to be there for Quinn and Liam’s first days. I look forward to watching them grow for years to come!

Jan 25, 2012

2011 was an amazing year for me. Never did I imagine that I could take my love of pictures and photography and actually make it a part of my everyday life. What started off as a hobby has truly become one of the best parts of me. Having a client tell me that they love an image or that it captures them perfectly…there is nothing that makes me happier.

As I went back to gather pictures for this post, I got to re-live the year all over again. Not only seeing how the kids have grown, but seeing how my photography has grown has been awesome. I am always looking for ways to learn, practice and become a better photographer.

I have to thank you all so much for putting your faith and trust in me and allowing me to capture these moments in your life. I really am so thankful for each and every one of you. You have made me happier than I can express.

2012 is already turning out to be an amazing year for Tara Wiley Photography!! Get ready to see more engagements and weddings on the blog, which I am SO excited about. Those of you that know me know that I LOVE weddings. (And have been in/gone to about a million of them!) To be able to shoot them is an absolute dream come true.

Ok…now that I have all the cheesy, girly emotions out of the way…here are just some of my favorite images from my 2011 sessions.
