Im back with part 2 of Sara + Jeremy’s wedding post at the Kaaterskill Inn in Catskill. We will start right out with the formal pictures. I use formal very loosely here! Sara and Jeremy were so easy going and laid back and really were up for anything. As I mentioned before, I definitely dragged them into the woods and told them to ignore the pile of trash that was on the side of the path.
To this day these are some of my favorite images I have ever gotten.
Sara changed into an antique lace jacket from one of her family members and it was just made for her. I cannot even stand how perfect they looked. The one image Sara requested was an “American Gothic” shot. The best part is that we couldnt remember exactly how it looked, so we were in the woods trying to frantically google it! Gave us a good laugh. My request for the day was to get on the old dock. We both got what we wanted!
One of my absolute FAVORITE things about this wedding was the amount of detail everything was given. Sara and Jeremy worked very hard to make this wedding perfectly them. They made the signs, the seating “cards”, and even the wooden boxes filled with succulents and the table numbers for each one. They collected old jars and cans for flowers and even printed up poster sized images of their grandparents wedding pictures that adorned the walls. Everywhere I looked there was something else to shoot. It was amazing.
Soon it was time to party. And let me tell you….did they ever party!!! Hands down one of the most fun filled receptions ever. (Special shoutout to the handsome man in the sunglasses in the first picture below….my awesome brother, Christopher!)
And you know its a crazy wedding when people start doing handstands and walking!!!
And they partied on into the night…

Thank you so so so much for having me as a part of your day. It was amazing!
I am so excited to share this sneak peek with you all. This BEAUTIFUL girl is my cousin. Did you look like this at 14??? I used to snuggle her as a baby and now look at her! Gosh I am old. Sierra….you are gorgeous! ♥

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I’m back to start your week off with some super sweet little ones. Last time you saw these tiny twins, they looked something like this:
Less than a month after this picture was taken, these tiny babies made their way into the world quite a bit ahead of schedule! I believe they were both only about 3lbs when they were born. They were strong little fighters and were home within a month or so. So meet…Kate and Luke!

Jane is amazing with these two. She went from no kids to 2 and I was amazed at how well she could handle both of them. I bow down to you, Jane!!! And they clearly LOVE their Mama!

Kate fell fast asleep right in the middle of the shoot. Love her sleeping sitting up. Its tough work being this cute!

Lets end this with some sweet puppy kisses for Luke!

While I am on vacation this week on the Cape, I managed to sneak in a few sessions on the beach! Here is sweet Miss Addison. How much do you LOVE her little onesie?

I am very happy to finally share this wedding with all of you. Heidi and César are very important to me…they are the first couple to hire me to shoot their wedding without having known me first. They helped show me that I could actually make my dream of becoming a wedding photographer come true…and I am SO lucky to have gotten such an amazing couple as my first ones! We spent the day at The Appel Inn, a beautiful venue located in Altamont, NY. It was a super hot day outside, but the girls kept cool inside the house and got ready for the big day. This wedding was so filled with love and happiness. I am truly happy that I was there to witness it.
So grab your cup of coffee and start your morning off with this super long, super fantastic wedding.

These guys were playing ‘Call Me Maybe’ on their phone and entertaining us as I was shooting César. Cracked me up!

Heidi…you are stunning.

This moment when Heidi’s father saw her for the first time was SO sweet.

Heidi and César’s friends decorated their car and gave them a silly string filled send-off!

Heidi and César, thank you for trusting me with your big day. Good luck on your new life in Boston!
