Dan + Kaylan

I am soooo behind on blogging, I know. It’s smack in the middle of the busy season for both family sessions and weddings for me. But I will make up for it with this awesome engagement shoot!

I feel like I say this all the time but…I love this couple. They are gorgeous and fun and I have an amazing time with them. Also, they are my family. Dan and Kaylan are my soon to be brother and sister in law. Dan and my fiance are brothers and Kaylan has become not only my soon to be sister, but a great friend to me as well. We are all getting married within 2 months of each other (and are all in each others weddings!) so we have had a great time planning.

A few weeks ago we were all up on the Cape together and were able to squeeze in an engagement session on the beach, which is something that I have been dying to do. A little back story…when Karl proposed to me on the Cape in May, I thought that I was going to the beach to do a shoot for Dan and Kaylan. I was SO excited. When Karl got down on one knee, the first thing I said to him was, “Wait, Dan and Kaylan really aren’t coming?” 🙂  So I was very happy that I was able to get them in front of my camera finally!!

The light and the sunset was just yummy at the beach. If I could do sessions on the Cape for the rest of my life, I would be one happy girl.

I cannot even stand how gorgeous you are, Kaylan. Just stop.

I love you guys!! Cannot wait to celebrate with you in July!
