I’m a few months behind blogging on this one, but I am excited to share Jaime and Jacques big day with you guys! They got married in December at the Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake, which is such an absolutely gorgeous place and they are great people to work with. It was a nice day, even with a little bit of snow on the ground. Really made it feel nice and Christmassy! (If that is even a word…) And the snow didn’t stop us from going outside for pictures either. Jaime was a trooper!
I have known Jacques since junior high school and I was so excited when they contacted me about shooting their wedding. The two of them are such a fun couple and I had an absolute blast with them. They are so in love and it was just awesome to see an “old” friend so happy!

As a surprise, which was seriously the cutest thing I have ever seen, Jacques and Jaime got Santa Claus to come to their wedding!!! Not only were the little kids beyond excited, a good amount of the adults got into the spirit too. Santa was awesome and even came into the reception for a little bit. But really, the best part was seeing the look on the kids faces when he walked it. It was magical.
