Sweet Miss Lila

Today’s blog post features some people that are very close to my heart.

Charlie and Latricia are some of the nicest people that you could ever hope to know. I met them almost 6 years ago when they moved to Albany. Some of you might recognize Latricia from her days as a reporter at WTEN here in Albany, where I was working at the time. In walked this sweet girl with the cutest Southern accent ever and we became the best of friends. I was honored to be their maid of honor when they were married in 2007. When they moved back home to Chattanooga a year later, it was bittersweet. I was happy that they were able to be back with their families in Tennessee, but I missed them desperately.

Lila was born the morning of December 12th and was just a tiny little peanut at 6lbs. I started counting down the days until I could meet her. Finally, last week, I got to not only snuggle that sweet baby, but to see my dear friends that I had not seen in 3 years. Best. trip. ever!

I’m so glad that I was able to take these pictures for them and capture this time in their lives.

Thank you guys for having me down! I hope that some of my New York sass rubbed off on Miss Lila! Love you guys!!

xo, Tara
